Looking to see if anyone has any insight into Microbe-Lift Praziquantel and if it will harm snails or not. I have a 46 gallon tank I am using as a QT, and has a CUC consisting of snails and a couple of HH hermits. I just got a sand-sifting goby (Tiger Wardi), and am looking to prophylactically treat it for worms due to how common it is for them. I have the referenced powder medicine, however it says "Not recommended for use with invertebrates".

Any idea if this will kill snails? I would remove the hermits, but leave the snails.

    TIA

And please move if this is the wrong forum.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I have no personal experience, but if it says harmful to inverts I would remove the snails and hermits.

Nice job of having a QT set up, that makes it a whole lot easier.

I figured as much. I will probably find another medicine that is safe for inverts.

And yes, glad I made the decision to run a 'permanent' QT (live rock, sand, CUC, skimmer). This is one fish that would not do well in your typical empty (no sand or rock) QT.
