MG Dosing Help

Will dosing MG lower my Alk or Ca or pH?

 

It should not lower anything. In fact it will help stabilize your readings and make it easier to balance them out. Are you getting a lower reading on anything else?

 

No, I just wanted to know because I kinda heard it did.

 

should be fine.. how's the mag after your 1st dose yestreday? remember 100ppm raise per day max..

 

It went up by like 40, So like 1180? Added it again today will test friday again.
Also is it fine to dose alk & Ca when adding MG? Like lets say alk in the morning then MG in the afternoon, Next day Ca in the morning & MG in the afternoon. Because I need to raise my alk & Ca :-/

 

riase your mag first. I would double dose now.. 40ppm raise in a day isnt much. get it to at least 1300ppm.. once your mag is up there, your cal and alk will hold better.. then does cal and alk in 2 days..

your calcium min 380 to 500 max
your dkh 8 to 12

 

like both Ca & alk the same day for 2 days?

 

depends on what your using to dose. kalk does both at same time.. if not then if your alk is below 8 dose alk first, then dose calcium.
