    Thats not metal, its a tank divider...made of plastic.

    Im very interested to see what Tangster, Otty, and some of the others have to say about this setup...

    I agree with the others, I can't wait to see what the people I know & trust think about it... dang I wish Tangster came on this time of night!! Sounds very plausible, but then again I'm ignorant when it comes to this type of stuff!

    Inland Aquatics has been doing this research for years so you are not the first to do this. I have toured this facility behind the scenes and listen to lectures on turf algae scrubbers.
    Now as for your no skimmer, if you are going to raise SPS's then you will have trouble with using only this method as Inland has already done the research and still doing more. If you live near it is something you need to see.

    Kudos for your DIY but the method has been used for years. :-/
