Our gold stripe maroon removed plenty of skin from me once it matured. They certainly are crazy

my yellow belly blue tang some times picks up small rocks/ shells and darts to the other end of the tank then "spits" them....then he picks it up again and dart back to the other end.... im not sure if its a sign of captive stress but i could swear he sometimes aquascapes his den... he seems to purposely drop rocks and shells on the base of corals, I wonder if this is a way of helping the coral obtain new colonizing ground?

Very interesting to watch. Perhaps it's just doing exercises.

The hippos get very destructive, it's why I got rid of one. It had a unique swim pattern through the tank and I put a rock or coral in that path she would remove it, no matter how much glue I used.

I HATE my maroons... lol. Love hate that is. They are a breeding pair and they wreck havoc in the tank. Yes they bite, knock stuff over - pull frags out of the frag rack. YUP thats right! I thought it was the sailfin eating algae that would pull them out and one day saw it with my own eyes, the female one by one pulled the SPS frags out of the rack.
