maxima clam in a red sea max

    hey just wondering if someone could tell me if its possible to keep a maxima clam in a red sea max, and what size do they grow to

    Depends on your lighting type more then tank hell you can keep on in a bucket as long as the water parameters are stable and the lighting is of proper type and strength. As for size ? I have had them up wards of 10" to 12" or so I never took a rule to them . But if you get a oh saw 3" maxima and had it for 5 or 7 yrs or so then you may need to move it out ? as long as it has room to fully open then it has enough room .

    ive seen them kept in them, just make sure you keep your bulbs replaced every 9 months or so even though their T5 their still based on PC hardware in the RSM so the bulbs don't seem to last that long

    thanks but it doesn't look like that anymore. I have gotten rid of a lot of my zoas. Nudis took over.
