Max ppm you can raise calcium per day?

you are right powerman .Thank you for the correction I am useing a teaspoon.1 teaspoon is 5 ml.

 

Well he certainly does not need 700 ml ;D

And it is wise to double check and make sure. Chasing doses around is no fun. Go slow, test, and let things settle. Going by manufacturer recommendations is best bet.

 

Update on the water perams.
After 3 days I have raised the calcium to between 420 and 440.I have had to add some alkaline as it dipped with the addition of only calcium.Current Dkh is 10 and magnesium is 1360,S.G.1.025.By tomorrow I should have 450cal,10.5Dkh,1360mag,S.G.1.025.Thanks for all the help everyone.It feels good when you start to get it.

P.S. I also picked up some Xenia yesterday.

 

great thread! same problem as what i'm having. dkh at 11, mg at 1350, but calc is way low, like 340, even though i'm dosing as per instructions on the bottle (20ml for 40 gal) gonna just double the dose and see if i can get the calc up to a suitable level. good info in this thread for peeps like me who are just getting into dosing!

 

Yea I ended up raising the dose to 40ml daily untill i got to where i wanted.That was only a 16ppm daily rise in calcium and took me 4.5 days.Now my calcium is stable and my alk is swinging and my mag is 1400...strange
