    Yikes, can't stand that look. I've seen a huge aquarium (200,000+gal) before like that, except it was completely over run by aiptasia.

    The thing with public aquariums is that sometimes the staff completely turn over in just a couple of months, and things kind of temporarily fall apart. Once that happens, it would be difficult to get rid of the pests.

    How are Majanos and Aiptasias held in check in nature? I canot rmember diving/snorkling on a reef to come across an investation like this.

    Peppermint shrimp and berghia nudibranchs both eat aiptasia I know. Berghia will only eat aiptasia and usually die in home aquaria when it is gone.

    I'm with you proreefer, if I was going to let a single species take over my tank it sure wouldn't be a Manjano.

    And it looked like the clown was hosting in them, it looked cool but I sure wouldn't want my tank looking like that.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    The person off the street with no experience in the hobby probably thinks the tank is the bomb. Us hobbyist know that is the bad kind of bomb, not the cool kind.
