Hey Guys, my Sea Clone has been in operation for about 5 months. Is there any routine maintenance that should be done on it besides cleaning the collection cup and rinsing the sponge on the intake?

You should break it down every few months or as needed to clean the entire unit.  You can use a variety of scrubbing brushes to clean the skimmer body.  Clean the venturi down tube which can be disconnected at the pump and the skimmer body by the quick couples.  Rinse the pump with clean fresh water or soak it in vinegar and then rinse depending on how much build up there is.

Remember that when you clean the entire unit it will need to be re-broken in.
