77 helped your situation. do you skim?
Great pictures and good to hear you are wining the battle.
Hey! Congratulations! I'm having an outbrake right now... :/
About to go get some mexican turbo snails to help that blue tang battle my algae better.
Awesome pics!!! Nice tank!!!
its coming along nice
Wow your tank looks great like it never had a stran of algae in it Great job.
Do you have a befor and after pic?
Great story, glad that didnt give up. Great looking tank.;D
I am happy you got rid of your GHA, but I am having a major problem myself.. but I feel there are too many flaws with your solution!
Eventually, the turbo snails will eat off all the GHA and starve, they have a heavy diet! So at that point lets say you return the snails to your LFS, or atleast cut back the number of them..
Then lets say the GHA comes back, are we just going to add more snails again?
I'm having a problem, where I think it's phosphates, but I only add RODI water. I have switched lights, and the algae was growing before and after the light switch so I dont know what to do and do not want to add 10 snails to clean it up, then return them just to have the algae reappear!
+1 Good thread though! Glad you got rid of that nasty stuff!
This thread is fro 2008 but you could get a reactor and run GFO to help with yours
