    ivanbosk - please remember most of our products are bacterial in nature not chemicals. The bacteria we provide were isolated from aquaria by me and are designed to do specific things to help set-up and maintain your aquarium. The fact is that most reef aquaria do not have enough bacteria [the right one, anyways] due to the protein skimmer being very effective at removing bacteria from the water.
