    Tank and Sump Complete

Finished the sump yesterday and the tank tonight. Sump had a small leak in one of the baffles, so had to resilicone a small area. Tank is drying right now, I'll be trimming it tomorrow.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm pretty much doing everything DIY... I guess that way I can build it the way I want it to be, and save some $$$ in the process. :p

    Thanks Seano!

Thank you pho88. I feel like I've been sprinting for the last two weeks to get this tank wet.

Thanks Shin. It does look pretty big, doesnt it? I guess that's one of the appeals of a shallow cube.

I'm pretty sure I put the silicone on too thick where the bottom meets the sides. I did the safe way... bottom is glued 1/4" up onto the sides, so the bottom doesnt come into contact with the stand. However, I touched the seal this morning along the bottom, and I can tell it's not yet dried through, still gooey.

Is this going to be a problem?

Great looking build man! Can't wait to see this bad boy filled up! But with the silicone you should be good, but I would wait the entire time it says the silicone needs to cure. Probably a stupid question, but you used aquarium safe silicone right?
