    update, tested again today, ammonia is 0, nitrite is 0, nitrate is between 20 and 40 and PH is about 8.3, temp is ~75. Is it possible for this rock to really be cured...is it possible to get numbers like this, then have them totally turn around?

    Anything is possible in this hobby ;D

    It is best to wait a good two weeks. If you really want to have your own food web going, wait several weeks to months before adding fish. :)
