Your temp is too high for them try to adjust it to 75
How deep is your tank? Maybe not enough penetration?
I totally following this thread, I just discovered my acan is shriveled up too! I fist thought it was a shrimp or invert so I moved it up off the substrate and onto a rock, so we will just have to wait and see....
My tank is 25in deep and I got my temp down to 78 with out running my MH and just 7 t5 running it for now til I get a chiller
So I guess your signature is a couple years old
Do you have a build thread?
I started but never finished it. I will take a bunch of pics when I get home but I'm gone for work for three weeks so I will then
Acans is high on the list of corals that can die for no reason. yes they have very high sucess rates but do have more misunderstood deaths then most LPS. I purchased 5 acan frags from a swaplast year. 3 of them are thriving and the other 2 got less and less healthy and eventually both shriveled and died. This should be your biggest question ime...How many other LPS do you have in your tank and are most doing good while a couple not so good?..if so where the LPS recieving or not recieving somthing the others wernt? (IE to much/to little flow, light etc) if not then it may have just been one of those things of nature.
