HL, if you have your calcium straightened out, it will start growing at a pretty good clip. You can scrape some off other areas and let it float around....that will help. It takes time to grow tho , be patient ;D

And I'm with Matt.....I'll bet the Calcium is the problem Scoffer is having as well....waiting for test results :D

keep your phosphate low, coraline stops growing in the presence of high p03 levels. if you can, use kalkwasser to help buffer your calcium as kalk helps get rid of p03

Scoffer, I think I would agree with the others who pointed to calcium as possibly being the problem. My calcium is always super high due to the brand salt I have been using (around 650), so my coralline grows at a very rapid rate. It will cover a new piece of rock in my tank in no time at all. As for your coral beauty, I have one as well and it's never been a problem for me.
Good luck to you, hope all goes well.

I drip Kalk regularly and my Mag had not budged from 1400 in a few weeks. Of course, my mag test kit is all used up. None of the LFS can get it right now...back order for the last 2 months :p :p :p :p

    Yup, vinegar works....rinse well!

I flush my line each time I add Kalk, I just let it run straight through for a few seconds.... :)
