The LumenSKY LED lamp from Illuminarium is a new fixture that will be available by June and is notable for its low-profile at only 1.57 inches high and polished reflectors behind every array of LEDs. The 12k 3 watt white LEDs are driven at 2.25 watts for longer life and have a 60 degree beam angle. The LumenSKY keeps weight down by having a remote power supply which also controls 9 different lighting modes. The blue LEDs are 465nm and there are built in moonlights as well. I wonder what the l-36 model will cost. I am doing alot of thinking about an LED set up as of now but would love to not have to DIY one just to get the ability to dim.

Hmm was just checking around on your page and it seems you didnt mention what brand of LED will be included with your packages. I was also wondering if you plan to include UV LED's in any of your set ups or have that as an option.

    Thanks

    Optional upgrades

    Bill,

The stock comes with Bridgelux leds but its upgradeable to CREE, so that will be considered an upgrade option. We are in the process of considering to what extent should the fixture be customized. As the week progresses, we will have more information available. Upgrade options will take a longer time for delivery and potentially drive the price up as well, all of this information should be available at the website once its finalized. Thanks for asking, I hope this answers your question. Do let me know if I can help you further, thanks.

While it may be the same factory, Illuminarium has done their own R&D and spec'd the units to what they want. This happens a lot in this, and other industries. Nothing new, and not a big deal.
