IMO its better than this one... I have never seen mine anywhere else beside my lfs. The owner has it in his show tank and got it like 10 years ago.

I do understand your thought on brains and acans... I plan on having my sandbed be covered with all these guys. My rockwork is where I have two spots open for em. brains and acans do best in the sandbed.

Forgot to mention those too.... I have those also.... neon green candy cane and white bubble coral

so you guys see Im left without much room to play with. just thought there was something I was missing :-/

I'm not sure ALL brains do best on the sand, where did you hear that?

There is such a large variety of them that I would be surprised if they were all the same. I know some definitely encrust over rock such as favia, and some are definitely substrate dwellers, like cynarina I think.
Acans generally encrust rock as well but I think if they're on the sand they can grow their own skeleton although I think it may be a slower growth process than encrusting.

Just some food for thought, and a reminder make sure you know what type of brain you're getting. :)

I think I might go with a pagoda cup. Pink or yellow... not the common green ones.

How about a tooth? The only one I've ever seen is the one I bought. One of my favorites. The pics don't do it justice.
