Yes a little his all had tops with some sort of lighting in there ..Used to use the old T12 round tube fixtures or the long incandescent bulbs that look like H/H do to day.

 

One like Mr/Peabody and his boy Shermam had LOL

 

Yes, I remember the metal framed tanks with the wrought iron stand. My uncle opened a fish store and my Grandparents gave us an aquarium for Christmas. I remember we used to have an Angel Fish that I trained to follow my finger and come up to the top of the tank and wait for me to feed it a crushed snail... I think I was about 9 years old and I can't believe I actually remembered that. ;D

I was thinking that when I posted it , I was saying to myself huum I wounder if they will even remember these names ?? I guess we'll see

 

2litre golfish bowl , it lasted a month i was cleaning it, i smashed it so i went to the pet store and came home with a 15gal s/w setup ;D .

 

I stared the FW world like 12 years ago with a betta bowl. I had him for like a year and then got a 10 gallon, then two 20g, then a 55g, then two 55g, the list goes on and on. Ive only been in SW for alittle over a year. I have to say it is way cooler!! I cant wait to see my tanks when they are a few years old. I always got bored with my FW tanks and changed them every year or two, but in SW there is so much life you dont get bored.

 

i still have a 450 ltr cichlid tank which is no maintence tank . the parameters are always perfect and only deaths that i have had were fish that have been eaten by other fish.. i want to turn it in to a sw tank girlfriend wont budge bloody mothers ;D
