    Not a peacock, although it would be nice if it was because they're one of the more active and brilliantly colored mantis. The consensus (given by Dr. Roy Caldwell) is that it is either N. wennerae (like mine) or N. bredini but w/o a picture of the tail, a positive i.d. cannot be made.

    Oh and Craig, be as nice to me as you'd like as the "special" treatment is solely reserved for JohnO ;)
