Thanks, me too. Not sure what happened, I haven't had a lot of time to watch them but he wasn't getting bullied and was eating fine. Sometimes things just happen I guess. Everyone else seems well.

My acans are still growing like crazy

Sorry to hear about the flasher. Dinos suck. Siphon out what you can with water changes. Clean everything very thoroughly and use GFO. Change the GFO often like every two weeks or less. If this does not work you will want to do a total black out for 3 days. Then do a mad clean job right afterwords.

Thank you John! Now that I know what I'm up against. I didn't think it looked like cyano bc I've had that before. After the siphon / cleaning ill put some microbe lift bacteria in there and do a blackout. Afterwards I think ill cut my light cycle down. Its been actinics 1-330pm, halides 330-1030, actinics 1030-1130. 10 1/2 hours might be a bit much.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Make sure to maintain a decent pH anything above 8.0 24/7.
Cut back or off water changes.
Clean it all of with a turkey baster or siphon daily. Once the water clears clean all mechanical filtration.
Total black out, and increase lighting period daily after black out.
If you see Dino start again, reduce lighting and clean every single day.
Took me 3 months to figure out it was and 3-4 weeks to treat.

Good luck, it's very motivating once you get a handle on it and start to see die off.

I hear dinos thrive in the condition that SPSs do.. Good light, low nutrient, etc... Its been like 2 months still fighting with mine. They were all over the place in my case (rocks, sand), I just cut back the light (cool whites and neutral whites, pretty dimmed down and shorter period by 2 hours on beginning and end).
Siphon out everyday, if you could until they start dissipating. Change the filter sock more often than usual.
Just be patient and keep at it. Good luck.
