I got 2 pieces of 6061 t6 aluminum(free) today. The pieces are round(water jeted) instead of square and about 2" thick. I will mill two heatsinks out of this.

Unfourtanetlly the aluminum is not anodize(yet) like I wanted. I would like to get it done soon after it's milled.

Aluminum ready to go into a CNC machine.

Rock got picked up yesterday and I'm not too happy with the set-up but it'll have to do it for now. Here are the pics:

I got like 3-5in of sand(I need to measure) and close to 80lbs of rock. Like you can see my sand covers a lot of the rock. I had a hard time setting this thing up last night. And when I was done I just wanted to take it apart and start all over, LOL! What to do?

Before I forget, I had mi first mishap with the tank and also the first with electricity. :(:-[ I had to move my to lamp in order to work with the tank but I still needed more light. My D*mb @ss put the lamp on the side of the stand and seen secure but did not check if it was enough. Guess what? Yes, It fell on the bucket full of salt water. No, I don't have a GFI outlet(yet) but for my luck the outlet has a power switch on the same wall so I shut it off and then ran to the main breakers and shut them off too. Yes, I almost Sh!t on my pants. But all good, I still have my other lamp. Yes, it reminded me how water(specially salt) and electricity dont mix and nothing else beside that one lamp got ruined.:-X:-/:cry::confused:
