    hey guys it looks like my lionfish is infected with something... its near its wastehole...

    my params are...

    temp 78
    ca 490
    mg 1350
    alk 10-11
    nitrate .2
    nitrite 0
    amm 0

    its a reef tank with 2 false percs, 2 yellow tangs, 1 sailfin tang, 1 lawn mower blenny. my tank has been up for about 3 months setup with established water and rocks and sand,

    im using a super skimmer, with a ecobak biopellets in a phosban reactor.

    i can't tell from the blurry pics but an isopod or another external parasite is what it most likely is!

    ahh... what should i do? i do not see any pods on the fish or anything...

    yes he does, like he just ate. but i recently put in a goby and now it disappeared so im thinking he ate it. and i also hasnt fed him in 2 days

    So the bulge wasn't there at all until the goby went missing?

    so i just did a FW dip for 2.5 minutes.. we'll see how it goes.. and my lfs doesnt handle sick fishes
