    jus gona keep softies, might keep a clam. the distance between substrate and light will be 19" and from the rocks might be around 10-12". will tht be fine? im planning for 2 14000k t8 1 actinic 03 t8 and 1 royal blue t8. is this fine?

    it only goes to like 6500k. pass. not suitable for alot of coral types.

    well im getting a 14000k t8 so the lighting will be:
    2 - 14000k t8
    1 - rowal blue t8
    1 - philips actinic 03 (purple)
    corals: only softies and a clam.
    tank: 26"x18"x18"

    the flood lights that say cool white are usually only 6500k you need above 8000k for coral plus why not just buy the PAR bulbs made for reefs.

    I suggest you choose led bars?My be 30cm is good enough,but your tank is to short.
