    I've never seen rapidled's in action, but this sunrise and set is super gentle! Ya barely notice the change over an hour! Plus really easy to switch stuff up!

    ok update; I just ordered 8 blues to swap out with rb's and 12 uv's! If i were to do it again i'd get;
    16 rb's
    8 blues
    16 cool whites
    8 neutral and
    12 uv's

    BTW LOVE the boostled typhon controller!

    Your tank is a 55g, correct?

    I am hoping to to my build in about a year from now. But am thinking....

    54" L display. I want a mix of colors that will look good during the day, as well as create a nice dawn/dusk effect (like you will be doing). UVs may also assist as moonlighting.

    I was thinking 16 royal blues, 16 cool whites, 8 UV, 4 reds.

    I do not know how it would look if I switched out of the royal blues for cyan and some of the cool whites for neutrals.

    yeah its a 55g! after playing with percentages and looking at effects and other peoples threads, and especially exactlyobp's advice here's what i believe!

    while the 50/50 rb to cw works to a degree heres the prob, you'll have to double the percentage of blue verse white to look cool! Also these don't offer a widce spectrum so some colors really fade out!

    What i'm switching to is a more wide range spectrum;
    16 rb's
    8 blues
    16 cw's
    8 neutrals
    12 uv's

    and then some colors as they get perfectged better

    I would def not do the 50/50 split again!
