    I'm not saying it has anything to do with it, it may affect it to some degree,

    But they are important parameters nonetheless if you are keeping any coral IMO

    i hope your kenya tree recovered, but this thread reminds me about the one i started the other week. when you read threads about corals being so easy to keep (even out of water...yeah don't laugh, somebody actually wrote that), it is very hard to believe what they say because like me and alot of other people it is simply not true.
