    No more then 8 hours. I have my actinic come on an hour before daylights then stay on an hour longer to simulate dawn/ dusk. If you have the ability slowly ramping them up and down is good.☺

    Yes I ramp up and down over 4 hours. Start off at 20K 30% and work it's way up to 14K 65% for 40 min and then reverse.
