Thanks for the compliments! A local LFS is selling all of their livestock at super low prices to sell dry goods only from now on, and letting stuff go for cheap. Had I been prepared to spend more money I could have REALLY cleaned up.

I was going for color variety. The Pocillopora is my least favorite, but at 2.50 I couldn't refuse. Maybe I'll grow it out and try to trade it for something cooler.

    Thanks!

The Hydnophora is really cool looking but I don't know much about it. It is a stinging coral that supposedly packs a punch. I've been told that it doesn't have sweeper tentacles but I'd like to find out more about it. To be frank, I'm kind of nervous about keeping it.

Do not be, just make sure it is not in close proximity to other corals. Grows really fast, loves supplemental feeding, medium flow. Of course as I always say one of my favs. :)

If an urchin, sea hare or seastar were to walk on it or touch it, would it kill it? Do fish not get hurt by them?

No IME it takes prolonged exposure. The only problem I have had with this coral is it growing too fast and stinging near by corals.

Ok cool. I guess they need lots of light. Would about halfway up be ok? I don't have a high spot for this one where it won't be close to other corals.
