    I think you were right on with the dosing of the PO4 and NO3. I think cutting that back with RODI WCs and letting the fish foul up the water should do the trick.

    It seems to work very well. The plants seem to be able to keep up with the fish waste if you do regular WC, remove detritus and keep your filtration clean.

    Any suggestions on vaccing detritus around the plants, while not disturbing them too much?

    You can use a gravel vac to do that just don't suck up much gravel. There are many different sized ones. Grab one of the smaller ones to minimize disturbance.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    So if you cut back on the PO4 and NO3 will the plants grow slower.

    Do you keep some of the cuttings trade or sell?

    Guess it's kind of a blessing corals do not grow so fast.

    No they grow just as well as long as there is enough for them to use as they want.

    I took the cuttings to the LFS for trade. That is how I got the Chromis and 3 3.5 oz frozen food trays.
