    bettas are from asia right? well i think they are; when i hear they come from rice paddies Asia comes to mind. If you did get one I'd go with a halfmoon; they're just my favorite ones

    Betta are good, just not what I like in a community tank specially with other Anabantids.

    Well I just noticed that the new lighting is penetrating father down the glass than the old by a factor of 2. I am very intrigued to see how the plants react.

    Mainly been a hobby, but I do sell the cuttings to the LFS for store credit when we have one open and they are willing to take the plants.

    Thanks, I can already see more red on the plants. I have 2 6500K bulbs on the way. i will replace one 5100K and the Actinic White with them and see how I like the look.
