This seems like a good idea. It deserves to be a display. Do you get to set it up scape wise? It was a pretty dang good run John as evidenced by the stunning tank.

I can imagine. For grins and giggles, would you run us through a typical week of maintaining this gorgeous beast? What was your routine, what did it require?

No, I am letting the owner do that. I will direct which rock to pull and in what order to make it go as fast as possible. It will most likely be a 2 to 4 hour process from start to completion.

I did a 5% water change on the weekend, added about 8 gallons of RODI water to my top off tank. Topped off the CA and Alk solutions. Scraped algae off the glass once or twice a week. Once I got everything stable I probably spent no more than 2 hours maintaining it unless the pumps needed cleaning.

I mentioned that I had a request for the Stylo and the rock with the green birdsnest when the owner was at my place getting a feel for the job at hand. He called me back after he got back to his shop and asked me to not sell them off and offered me more for the set up.

Than you're a better man then me. It would take me a lot longer. Once you start moving the pieces apart and then to put everything back together with the optimal coral placement, man it can become a nightmare. Nothing ever goes back even close to the way it was.

Some one in your area missed out on a sweet deal.
