I just read up on it, and there seems to be a consensus that you can siphon off the "jelly". I would assume if you could siphon it off you could blow it off, which would've happened when I was attempting to blow off the sand.

Brown jelly is a Protozoa. I'm not aware of it infecting Acans. The red skeleton is a secondary infection. You have a number of issues at hand.

So, what sort of options exist for dealing with these issues... I have reduced my photoperiod and the intensity of the LEDs (which I'm assuming is the first issue). What's the next issue I can deal with? I think a Lugol's dip was discussed in my other thread, but the consensus was to leave them alone and let them recover. But if a dip would help them get rid of whatever's infecting them (assuming infection)?

I'm trying to be as patient as possible, I promise...

Have you done an iodine dip? This should help with tissue repair it works the same way as putting iodine on a cut on us.

I have iodine in the truck next to me. How long do I dip and in what concentration?

15 to 20 drops per quart of tank water for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse in a clean quart of tank water. This is for tincture of iodine.

For Lugol's solution it is a drop or two per quart for the solution.

I think that is close to tincture of iodine levels. I would suggest looking up tincture of iodine to see what its concentration is.

It will take weeks before you see much improvement although I would have to say that this one look like its getting happier already, it takes lots and lots of time so don't rush it.

IMO don't move them, don't treat them just leave'em alone. In my expedience with acans the more you bother them by Dipping\treating\moving them the worse they do, but remmeber this is my opinion. Just feed them and keep'em clean and happy

It's a slow go when it comes to corals recovering from any kind of mishap. Your pictures should not of day 1, day... They should be of week 1, week 3..
