It is a dry heat, yeah right !

It was a fantastic tank for me. If I could do it all over again I would however go with the newer generations of AIO, like the Nuvo or a rimless cube like Solona.

    Welcome to 3eef.

    So any modifications? Skimmer?

My old JBJ 28 used to house a pair of B/W misbar clowns.

As evidenced by how many JBJ tanks I have had I like the brand.

The only mods ive done is ive added enductors to the returns. I have a hydor nano 425. Im hoping with waterchanges and the cpr aquafuge i will be adding soon i will not need a skimmer. My clowns are misbar onyx.

The last 2.5 years I had the tank I did not run a skimmer. I also had the CPR fuge, lg. If you do decide to look at skimmers though I like the new Tunze Doc for nano tanks.

I have had the Aquapod and a Biocube in the CF lighting and the JBJ 14 gallon, 6 gallon too. I kept Bubble Tip Anemones, Clams and the easier sps like Montipora.

Im not a big sps fan. I like movement. So things like torches and hammers are what i will mainly be doing along with some zoas and mushrooms. I would really like a bubbletip for the clowns but im worried about it getting chopped up by the hydor.

I have read the legit entirety of this thread, and I feel so close to all of you now. Haha. Sadly, I'm not a JBJ Nano-Cube 28 owner....YET. But I do have the JBJ Nano-Cube DX 12g. I don't have anything in it yet, not even water. I decided to go the Nutri-Seawater route as I just know that for the first time, I'd mess my saltwater mixing up. My water, live sand, and dried (dead) live rock are all due to come in tomorrow = very excited!!!!

    Hello Hippocampus, wonderful profile name.

I have had the Nano 12 gallon ( I have had just about every tank the JBJ makes) if you need any assist please feel free to post here.

You'll be very happy with the tanks filtration and lighting, you can do a lot with PC lighting, more than people let on.

What extra flow are you considering for the display? A Koralia Nano is ideal for this tank as long as your keeping simple corals.
