What I've noticed when I had my cheap odyssea MH fixture, is that the ballast has a part to play regarding the color temperature. I changed out the odyssea ballasts to Lumatek ballasts and got really great quality lighting with Phoenix 15/14k bulbs.
I experimented a little, I had the crappy odyssea ballasts powering the Phoenix bulbs and the light being emitted had a green tinge to it. So then I switched to the Lumatek ballasts and I saw a clean crisp blue light.

But just search Ebay, or amazon for full spectrum/dimmable LED's, should pop up, lots of choices out there- good ones too

The lumatek/phoenix 14k combo is what I have. Now with hamilton 460nm actinic T5s I am really loving it.

Great to hear you have a ballast as good or better midnight!
