    Mines not due to jumping gobies in the past and humidity problems. Both my tanks are covered with a perspex lid.

    I have an acrylic 55 so it isnt all that open with the bracing. On top of that I have the T5 light fixture which covers the hole fairly well. The light is raised a bit but I have to consider it a sort of closed tank

    It's open, but I've added some diy acrylic tops, at least on half of the tank.
