Is my tank too small?

    Well I wont risk getting one if it will make it unhappy, or worse!!

    In the meantime I will be getting some polyps and some mushrooms!

    polyps and mushrooms are a great choice to start with specially with a low light tank like yours.

    Sorry to Highjack the Thread but Marc you are right about dirty water, but you have to be careful one persons dirty water is another persons toilet :)

    Clams can redose Nitrates

    Marc,

    You know, I may be knee jerking on water quality. (I'd rather fall that way.) I am new at clams. Now that I think of it, most live in shallow water with variable quality. They are supposed to be good at removing phoshpate and I suppose a little NO3 isn't going to hurt. I do know that they like high light, CA and Alk with a moderate current. I really should do a little more reading on the topic since I own 2.

    No problem Blade. I dont even own a clam. I dont consider my self "experienced" enough to have one yet. But i do read allot and spend allot (my girlfriend would say way to much) time on 3reef.
