    Yes if it had hairy pincher's ? then its a acro crab and if it was dead he'd be long gone they live in the coral to protect it and the coral gives it a place to hide from predators its not just shrimp and clowns and anemones and gobies that have a symbiotic relationship

    We should clarify, the smooth acro crabs are good and the brown, furry ugly looking ones are bad.
    Also it takes red bugs a long time to kill an acro, usually the acro tissue will just become really light if they have a terrible infestation. Acro eating flatworms are much more efficient at destroying acros and montipora eating nudibranchs are just a PITA. lol I've had it all in my time.
