    wow.. amazing.. Tonight i just saw the same thing in my tank.. first time, and i look at it at night all the time. and it is pretty big, solid black, wonder where he was hiding all this time. Always neat to find something new in the tank!

    I found a pic of exactly what mine looks like...he is cool! He has been aptly named Mr. Limpet. I wonder, also, where he has been all this time??

    yep, that is exactly what mine looks like, he lives in a hole right under my ball sponge, whom has shrunk in size recently, but ive only caught the limpit on him once, useually he is all over the place..

    they can hide about anywhere i guess my tanks been goin bout 2 years and just a few months ago i found one that i never seen before you just never know what your gonna find

    I've got about 50 - 75 keyhole limpits you can see all the time. Great algae grazers!

    Thems good eatin, baby abalone basicly :) Well, the Pacific Giant Keyhole Limpet that is....

    Hey, I did a post about 3 months ago about the same little critter and he looks just like the one on this post.
    I'm luck to have a pair of them and they travel togeather about every evening. I've never seen them before.My tank is 1 year 3 months old and just now saw them one night.
