    Hey!

So I've been struggling with algae trapped in the grooves of my cement tank. I inherited it this way, and unfortunately the construction and paint job left all these spaces for algae to really "stick". I've been building my biceps like Iron Man but I am unable to remove the algae as I would like. It does help but it has been an endless battle. Any advice would be appreciated! It's a fun puzzle to think over. :)

Is it really that much of a problem? Algae is natural and all.

Is it too unsightly? What type of filtration system does the system have?
What are the parameters, especially Nitrate, phosphate, and if you can test for it, silicate?

If any of those levels are a probem, do you have some tyhpe of phosphate reducing reactor?

We'd/I'd like to see more pics too!

    Oh, and Welcome to 3Reef!
