Thanks. We do most of the work in our sparetime. Its in the home stretch now so were starting to get excited. I'm pretty stoked about the Pennisula. Especially because its 9 ft long by 5.5ft wide!

I would love to have that kind of dept with my 7'. Have you got a video of the surge yet running??? Really courious to see it working. Maybe you can throw some kalk powder in there to help see the water movement.

I was kind pissed when I found out. As it was being wheeled into my house.

That build thread is very cool. Need to see more pics.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

i'm leaning towards building it myself, then i know for sure i'm getting what I want. Now to start searching for epoxy resin and some 3/4 glass.

Epoxy that is aquarium tested from an aquarium dealer

    The Surge Zone Home

What are the dims you are planning? Unless you'll be over 30" in depth 1/2 is fine for up to 10ft.

    new question

I'm thinking of puting my new 225g upstairs in my house, and was wondering if anyone here has a
200g+ on a second floor. It would be right overtop of a T shape wall(s).
Also anyone have a link to info on how to figure total tank weight?
