    Ordered the lights they are on the way can't wait to get rid of the old fluorescent lights I have.

    I ordered two 175w mh ballast and all shipping included $185.00 good price little by little I will get the other light that I need since my tank is 6' long. and two vho 60" next bonus check. CAn't wait until they get here.

    It was $185.00 for both including shipping and handling. Comes with everything the reflector, bulb, ballast, socket, ten feet of cord. not like I need all cord that but whatever.

    Hey guys, How far above the water should these lights be? there is no glass tops on my tank at all. The canopy in only five inches deep. I fugured with the reflector and all it may be too close to the water. I was thinking of building a deeper fram to the canopy and using the existing lid.

    Did you order the MH from ebay, the link i gave you? If you did the reflector is 8" high. so it wont even fit...

    Go figure. I did order those from ebay. If you look at the gallery I think all I have to do is build the Frame of the canopy deeper and use the existing lid. I hope I can match the stain on it That is the only concern. It should cost maybe $25-$30.00 for a piece of plywood.
