    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    There are hundreds if not thousands of different types of Asternia stars.
    ID'ing type is difficult at best.
    They can become opportunistic eaters eating corals and zoanthids. Some eat only coralline algae.

    I would sure keep an eye on your corals as well as the population.
