Maybe was tired of his foolish attempts at pleasing it. It probably made its way to another LFS where it can snare another victim after eating his soul and everything out of his refrigerator.

This is an Raista Anemone. It can and will eat lionfish and eels and whatever else goes near it. They can instantly detache themselves from a rock and attack prey like the Humboldt Squid catches prey. This is the Predator of all predators. I have no idea how large they get because I dont know anyone who has ever kept one long enough to find out. They re cool to watch and do well in a reef aqaurium but without fish. It should be fed weekly at the least. It is not only a suggestion to make it a species only tank but it is the only way. He will put up with no fish!!!! He will not damage or eat corals though. You will not even find any info on google about this bad-boy people just dont keep em. this is the second I have ever seen. Like I said they look cool but they arent. good luck.

Holy cow! Only one word can describe this animal "EPIC!". If this had been sauron in lotr, frodo and sam would have surely perished! Seriously though....VID!

I googled "Raista Anemone" and nothing useful came up. Are you sure of the spelling?
