    I would agree.

    As I stated before, ich is present in any marine environment and there is no way around that. It never becomes a problem unless that particular fish's immune system, for lack of a better term, can't fight off the fairly minor Cryptocaryon irritans. Quarantine, medicate, use garlic food (???) treat the entire system with chemicals????.... in the end it will not matter what has been done because if that particular fish hasn't been relieved of what is causing ich to take hold in the first place it will again be infected sooner or later. Meds and quarantine are a quick fix but in the long run figuring out the cause, not the cure, is the best method for a permanent fix.
