Ich is a 4-7 day cyst cycle I believe. And def listen to corralline about this, she and vinny are pro's, thats where i stole most my info for this:
    http://www.3reef.com/forums/diseases/ich-101-noob-noob-128391.html

And a FYI, pulling a fish should usually be a last resort, especially with ich, as once its in its in unless ya leave it fallow for 8 weeks.

Glad its doing better, i'd get it back in the DT ASAP. IMO

alright. I just don't get how if the cycst cycle is 4-7 days, the MAX i saw it was 2 days ago, and its already gone. Like i said i look closely at my fish every day. So is there anything else that could have caused white spots? or is it possible because of the slight ammonia spike i had the fish got stressed, got ich, then when i lowered it back to 0 his immune system fought it off?

Yes the disappearances means the parasite has fallen off the fish to completely it's life cycle in the substrate. Marine ich is only visible when on the body of the fish, it's still there just in a different life stage.

As stated previously just keep water quality good, provide good nutrition and reduce stress and the fish should become more resistant next time the parasite is able to attached to the body of the fish. Each time the parasite completes it's life cycle if all is going the well the numbers of the parasite drop and the fish should become more resistant with each exposure. Tangs can be the exception to this rule. Give them a dirty look and they can become symptomatic in 10 minutes.

yikes. ok well i did transfer it to a diff tank. so maybe the cysts fell off in that tank, and when i move it back to the DT they will stay in the qt tank lol

Coralline thanks for all the help! really appreciate it. I ordered selcon and garlic guard so am going to keep the selcon for emergencys, but start using the garlic guard as an every day additive.

Cant thank all you guys enough to the help! 3reefers are the best!

Glad to hear it's going well.

Some will say Marine Ich is in every ones tank, it's just not symptomatic. The fish have become resistant, stress is low and the population of the parasite is low with some saying it dies off completely after a couple months.

Point is that there is an excellent chance that it's in all your tanks at this point and you just have to deal with it one step at a time, I would not put too much worry into resolving the issue unless you keep high risk fish such as tangs or have a systems prone to stress from factors already mentioned.

    Glad we could help.

Selcon and garlic guard seem to have cleared up the problem. Clown is doing great. No more spots, and no one else ever showed any sign of having it/ :))
