    When the tentacles arent out, I just hold it in there give it a little nudge, and then the brain slowly closes on it. and the tentacles come out and grab on to hold it in place. and its gone in a few minutes

    Right before I fed my little dude the other day

    Pretty sure his red/pink rim doubled in size after.

    Yeah, I just use some plastic tweezers I have, Hold the silverside near the mouth, very gently nudge the mouth and it closes on it. That is my coral that ate one of my ceriths :(

    I have an open brain and it looks crappy sometimes and then is fine in a day.

    What are you feeding it? I feed mine raw table shrimp and it really enjoys it. Light alone will not feed that coral.

    and i agree. it might just be exchanging water. dont worry to much, at least not after 24hrs. i would do what redgambit recommended

    thats what i did for my bubble
    i havent fed it anything because the feeders are never out but i want to, i have a huge packet of silver sides in the freezer
    hahahahaha lol your right it could have gone in sooooo many directions with the title :lol:
    hopefully thats all it is :D
