    True. Any water the contacts the heat pack will stop the action though.

    Shipping stuff colder is a bit better IMO/IME (having shipped thousands of boxes of fish and corals). At lower temps you have more DO (dissolved oxygen) and the fish become more lethargic which slows down their metabolism and breathing. Ditto with corals except the the "lethargic" part :)

    i was going off their instructions, was pretty easy but when i realized he was possibly dead i did acclimated a bit longer than they suggested
