I picked this up for 15$ Today

all of the purple shoud be flesh, and ive seen mushrooms attach themselves to the worst places.... i had one try and attach to my frogspawn not more than a week ago :-/

 

so what do you think I can or shuld do for it

as you can see there was hardly any tissue left, but look at it now, absolutely amazing what corals can go through and still suvive.

 

i would say try and feed it. and make sure nothing nips at the flesh

 

i feed my corals marine snow shuld I put him in a bowl and feed him some

 

i would try some live brine or myscis. if you can see feeder tentacles or a mouth during feedings its a very good sign, most importantly watch your fishes behavior, make sure they dont show much interest in him and he should have a chance.

I wouldnt put it in a bowl. The less you can handle/stress it the better. Just target feed it with a turkey baster or syringe

 

why not? if it doesnt make it you can have lobo soup and half the work is done for you :laughing0

 

would it be beneficial for him to try to saw down the frag so that only the living area is left?
