    Thanks Guy.
Most people say that we could pass for sisters rather than Mother/daughter. Everyone thinks I'm her spitting image. :) It's a good thing I suppose.

    Thank you Fisherman.

    Attitude in adversity is everything.

You ought send your Mom a link to this chat. She deserves to see how much her daughter loves her and the outpouring of support from 3reef for her and you.

Strong lady for Mom is.... and you.

Sounds like she had a contrast scan done.

It isn't only the closed in feeling, it is the random noises the damn thing makes.

Regretfully, I've had that done a few times. The worst was after a severe concussion. Got knocked, came to, but kept losing consciousness again. They got me to the hospital and I was talking to the ER doc..... then the next thing I knew I was in the damn tube with the thing making all the noises. I FREAKED OUT. I had been out for some time... long enough for them to take me from the ER into the testing room and do most of the test. I had no idea where I was. It was very freaky coming to like that, so I feel for your Mom completely. It can be very scary. BTW - It was a full day before I stopped "dropping off line". Not good... but nothing compared to what your Mom is going through.

Send her my best. She's a brave soul.

Thanks... saw you were from Canada. You've got a lot to be proud of in these Olympics. My wife and I have found ourselves cheering for the Canadien Home team in many events. Besides... just a beautiful country and amongst the politest people I've met traveling. I love visiting.

Heh, I've been relaying it all to her. She's so thankful for everyone who cares, although they've never met either of us.

Thank you Steve. Im so hopeful that everything will turn out for the best.
Thank you Mark. I've had some scans for my Kidneys before. It is kinda scary to go through. My mom is very claustrophobic so I could imagine how scary it would have been.

I fully agree, such lovely people. I've always wanted to live there.
