I need a good light for 55 gal reef tank

    show her a marine depot catalog or DF catalog and tell her she should be thankful!!! $5,000 could be spent really quick!

    You got a great point there, I could also tell her I'm going to the Harley shop and she would faint. You do know what HD stands for don't you??? Hundred dollar bill because that is what you spend every time you walk in the dealership...;D

    HD = Hard Divorce

    AS HD is something that can get any guy in toruble, Harleys, High Def, etc.

    Now your tank will turn purple, lol. Are you going to use the tank for a reef setup, or did you just want it to look better?? I know when I add my light to the tank, I suddenly wanted to add corals, ha. I have the same light as you, but it is on a nano tank ( 20" light), and I love it. I think PC lighting can get the job done for most corals, or well the ones I want. Good luck with the tank, and keep us updated,

    I want to let it run another month and then start putting some coral in it. I am adding half dose of Purple Up right now to get the coralline algae to keep growing. I have some already so that is why I am only putting half the dose in.
