    Thanks for the info guys! I figured it would be easier to use a separate reactor. Do you think a similar mod would help me to use a phosban reactor for biopellets? Some people have had issues with the tumbling on these as well.

    ^Sure thing, Lynn! I kinda wish that BRS sold outside reactor only (without inner canister) tho, now that I think about it.

    hrmm I wonder if you could gravity feed this from an overflow?

    I guess it's possible to gravity feed it, but Id like to control/adjust it when I have to, no?

    Just tee off the drain line, and put a ball valve on the reactor side.

    Also, Id like to filter through the sock first before the water goes into the reactor.

    to be completely honest, you might not need the o ring. I might cut the PVC pipe a bit too short, the edge might not even touching the O ring inside. The PVC pipe is tight enough and it's not really doing use, Id imagine. But its #17 O ring from Home dept. 1 1/16" OD and 7/8" ID.
