    Will this kill other potential "bugs"? Some of my montis have been losing tissue inexplicably.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    You will probably have a problem getting Interceptor, I am not even sure it's available to vets any longer.

    Red Bugs are specific to Acropora not Montipora. Not to say some other little arthropod is not bugging your other sps. Each type of sps has it own little parasite type.

    Ivermectin may work but I am not sure about the exact treatment proceedure.

    Are you seeing Red Bugs on the Acropora and or Black bugs on the Montipora. Got any images?

    I saw the red bugs on the acropora. I saw nothing on my montipora (cap or digi), but I did have nudbranchs on my montipora last summer.

    The lights are out now and I am not sure I can get my camera to focus on the redbugs.
